Why choose Vintage?

  • Save The planet!

Did you know that 22 million pieces of furniture are discarded to landfill every year in the U.K? Buying pre-loved furniture from The Vintique Workshop ensures that good quality furniture with so much more to offer gets a second chance to bring life to your home or workspace.

  • Save Money!

We have plenty of beautiful items that are in immaculate condition. They may be almost new, pre loved or passed down but compared to brand new alternatives, they have much more character and can be picked up for relatively low amounts!

  • Create your own style!

At The Vintique Workshop you may just find that item you would never find in a department store or from conglomerate firms. There have been so many styles and fashions throughout the decades, something that was once a standout piece - can be just that again with a spot in your home.

  • Don't make 'em like they used to!

Mid Century furniture is some of the hardest wearing ever made. A lot of products that come through the door are still in beautiful condition, they just need a bit of TLC. We use sustainable methods to give furniture a rejuvenated look, whether that be a light sand and re-oiling or re-upholstering with our large collection of in-store fabrics.

My work background includes retailers such as, Sainsbury’s, M&S and Soho House, to name a few across two key areas, Furniture and Technology.

After 30 years I felt it was time to take a break from mainstream retail and start up my own project and use my knowledge gained to create a company that was able to find cool Vintage furniture, upholstery & electronics that required some minor attention or a major overhaul to bring them back to life through the workshop and send them back out to be enjoyed for many years to come!

Personally, I don’t think things are made like they used to be and in my opinion ‘Older Things are Sexier’…...
